2018 OVFF Free Tree Program
Spring Seedling Roundup Wednesday March 21, 7:00-9:00 PM
Blue Ash Distributing Warehouse  11013 Kenwood Rd.

The Forestry Fellowship and the Federated Garden Clubs of Greater Cincinnati are teaming up again to count, bag and box 5200 Bald Cypress tree seedlings for our annual Spring giveaway thru the Public Libraries and other groups. As always, we are counting on you, so please lend a hand! Let’s work together to help kids discover the rewards of planting trees! Extra seedlings are available for volunteers.

Great Miami River Tree Planting
Heritage Park in Colerain Twp., 11405 E. River Banks

March 24, 9:00 AM-1:00 PM & April 28, 9:00 AM-1:00 PM:
 OVFF is teaming up with Hamilton Co. SWCD to plant 1,000 live stakes (tree cuttings) along the eroded Great Miami River banks.  Some work will be accessed with canoes. Register at www.hcswcd.org/livestaking

**Must be at least 15 years old due to working along river.


Taking Root - Seedling Roundup
Glenwood Gardens Technical Center 377 Sheffield Rd.

April 11, 6:00-8:00 PM: OVFF is teaming up with Taking Root for their 2018 

Tree bagging/giveaway.  Join us to bag and box tree seedlings to give to

 elementary school students in Hamilton County and inspire the next 

generation to plant trees! Pizza will be provided.

Volunteer Appreciation Picnic

Please join Ohio Valley Forestry Fellowship, October 13, 2018 at Area 22 in Mt. Airy Forest as we honor our volunteers.

The OVFF will be recognizing 2 outstanding volunteers and planting 10 trees in the park! 

Tree planting will begin at 10 a.m. If you would like to help plant come early. 
We will be grilling out hamburgers, hotdogs and mets for lunch along with some delicious sides and drinks from 12 - 2 p.m. 

We're ordering seedlings for Spring soon. Like a specific tree? Come vote for your favorite! We will also have corn-hole and volleyball games going.
